Job summary

Colliers International seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to lead cost management for large industrial and office projects across our global account. You will act as a subject matter expert supporting project managers and the real estate team with budgets, cost controls and value engineering.

The role requires international project experience, a construction management or engineering background, and proficiency with BIM and cost databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Cost Estimating and Management (pre-contract and post-contract) required.
• Special knowledge in cost benchmarks for industrial buildings and related factors.
• Ability to review cost plans for quality and accuracy before approval.
• Understanding of contract types (Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, cost-plus).
• International experience on industrial construction projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office and cost databases; experience with BIM tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes.
• Support project managers and real estate team with budgets and cost control.
• Identify significant cost risks and mitigation measures with project teams.
• Provide cost estimates from preliminary to detailed levels.
• Evaluate cost control effectiveness and review forecasts and reports.
• Leverage cost and time optimizations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Assist in value engineering, price and claim negotiations with General Contractor.
• Collaborate closely with Project Manager for overall project success.
