Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities for complex projects. You will guide project teams, maintain schedules, and mentor staff while upholding the company mission and values.

The role requires extensive experience in engineering, construction management, and cost engineering, with proficiency in cost software and strong communication skills. Some travel may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; 10+ years of relevant experience in the industry.
• Certified Cost Professional certification from AACE International or similar (CCP-AACE, CEP-AACE, or CPE-ASPE).
• Knowledge of capital and services cost, scope change management, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards and reports.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management and data coordination for estimates.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and apply unit rates to quantities within a discipline.
• Prepare budgets and cost reports, and collect cost engineering data.
• Support project managers and engineers to meet project goals and schedules.
