Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities across multi-discipline projects. You will guide project teams, maintain schedules, and support staff development while upholding the company mission.

The role requires a CPA/CCP-related credential and 10+ years of experience in engineering or construction cost control. Strong communication and software proficiency are essential for this senior position.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
Certification as CCP-AACE, CEP-AACE, or CPE-ASPE is preferred.
Knowledge of capital cost and services cost and scope change management.
Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint for reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards.
Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
Manage scope changes and coordinate with Engineering for data to support estimates.
Develop quantities, apply unit rates, and verify data accuracy.
Prepare budgets, cost reports, and routine cost engineering data.
