Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities across projects. The role focuses on maintaining the project schedule, coordinating with engineers and discipline leaders, and guiding team members to achieve project goals.

The successful candidate will possess a CCP certification, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and at least 10 years of industry experience, with strong communication and leadership skills to drive cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional certification (CCP) or equivalent (AACE or similar).
• Knowledge in capital cost and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops cost recording, reporting standards, programs and reports.
• Prepares cost data for projects, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Coordinates data with Engineering to conform to the estimate plan.
• Develops unit costs and takeoffs; validates quantities.
• Prepares budgets and cost reports; analyzes data.
