Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a Senior Cost Consultant to lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, and to guide project teams with engineers and discipline group leaders toward on-time, within-budget goals.

You will manage budgets, develop cost data for proposals, and support staff development while upholding the company’s mission and values in every project engagement.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost engineering, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and cost software.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards.
• Prepare cost data for projects, proposals and negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Define scope requirements with engineering and coordinate data for estimates.
• Develop quantity takeoffs and apply unit rates.
• Prepare and coordinate budgets and cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost engineering data.
• Perform data analysis and development.
• Support the Project Manager / Supervisor / Manager.
