Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of capital and services cost.
• Knowledge of scope change management.
• Engineering, procurement, contracts, startup processes knowledge at an intermediate level.
• Proficiency with multiple discipline software applications.
• Strong problem solving for cost-related issues.
• Knowledge of financial reporting systems and controller codes (PSR, ERD).
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint for work processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication; strong leadership and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assists in developing and implementing cost recording, reporting, and analysis standards.
• Assists in preparing cost data for projects, proposals, and negotiations.
• Assist with scope change management.
• Determine scope definition requirements with engineering and other disciplines.
• Develop quantity takeoffs for a discipline using defined documents.
• Develop and apply unit rates to quantities.
• Prepare specific budgets following prescribed standards.
• Prepare and coordinate cost reports.
• Collect and classify cost engineering data.
• Perform data analysis and development.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager/Supervisor/Manager.
