Job summary

Lob is transforming direct mail with a modern logistics and fulfillment engine, enabling high-quality, personalized direct mail programs. We seek an experienced Corporate Counsel to advise key business units and scale legal operations as we grow.

As Corporate Counsel you will lead complex negotiations, guide product development, and drive data privacy initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance across our expanding SaaS and partner ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar membership.
• Experience advising SaaS businesses and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.
• Advise Product and Engineering through the product lifecycle, navigating regulatory, IP, and contractual frameworks.
• Contribute to data privacy strategy and negotiate data processing agreements.
• Oversee corporate compliance programs, training initiatives, and vendor audits.
• Develop scalable legal workflows and self-service templates to accelerate execution.
• Partner with the General Counsel on special projects and broader strategic initiatives.
