Job summary

Lob is transforming direct mail with a modern logistics platform. We are hiring a Corporate Counsel to lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements, advise Product and Engineering on lifecycle matters, and strengthen our data privacy program. This role supports Lob’s growth and scaling of contracts across multiple states.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of experience, a J.D. from an accredited law school, and a proven ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced

Qualifications

In-house legal experience preferred with ability to handle high volume work.
Experience drafting and negotiating enterprise SaaS and vendor contracts.
Advising product, engineering and HR teams across lifecycle and regulatory frameworks.
Data privacy experience including GDPR/CCPA and data processing agreements.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.
Advise Product and Engineering during development lifecycle with regulatory/commercial guidance.
Translate privacy frameworks into operational practices and negotiate data processing agreements.
Oversee compliance programs and internal policy development and training.
