Job summary

Lob is transforming direct mail with a modern logistics and fulfillment platform. We are building a team to scale high-quality, personalized programs and require a Corporate Counsel to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements across enterprise SaaS, partnerships, and vendor contracts.

The role partners with Product and Engineering to navigate regulatory, IP, and contractual frameworks, supports data privacy programs, and drives scalable legal workflows across Lob’s operations

Qualifications

• Requires J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
• Hands-on experience advising enterprise SaaS, product, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements.
• Advise Product and Engineering teams through development lifecycles on regulatory, IP, and contractual matters.
• Oversee data privacy efforts, translate GDPR/CCPA into actionable practices, and negotiate data processing agreements.
• Manage corporate compliance programs, policies, trainings, and vendor audits.
• Develop scalable legal workflows and templates to accelerate cross-functional execution.
• Collaborate with General Counsel on special projects and strategic initiatives.
