Lob is hiring a Corporate Counsel to partner with Revenue, Product, Engineering, and Partner Operations. You will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, guide product development with regulatory and IP considerations, and drive data privacy initiatives across the business.

The role requires 5–7+ years in-house experience, JD, and active bar membership. You will help shape compliance programs, templates, and scalable processes while supporting strategic initiatives across Lob.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of relevant legal experience, with a strong preference for in-house experience.
• D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one state bar.
• Familiar with the range of legal risks and business issues in enterprise SaaS environments.
• Ability to manage a high volume of work autonomously and translate complex legal concepts into practical business advice.
• Experience advising People/HR on employment lifecycle matters and managing corporate litigation with outside counsel.
• Experience counseling SaaS businesses where software connects with physical products and supply chains.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements including enterprise SaaS and vendor contracts.
• Advise Product and Engineering during the product development lifecycle within regulatory and IP frameworks.
• Lead data privacy initiatives, assessments, and data processing agreement negotiations.
• Oversee corporate compliance programs and develop internal policies and trainings.
• Engineer scalable legal workflows and self-service templates to speed execution.
• Partner with General Counsel on special projects and strategic initiatives.
