Job summary

Calqulate seeks a Controls Engineer for its manufacturing facility in the southwest suburban Atlanta area. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems in an Allen Bradley PLC environment to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.

Responsibilities include electrical troubleshooting, machine program modifications, and leading projects from initiation through completion, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
• Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider 2+ years.
• Experience in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with Maintenance, Toolroom, Mfg Eng, and Production teams.
• Electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V.
• Provide controls engineering support for projects, including PLC/HMI programming.
• Lead projects, coordinate tasks with internal and external parties.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT documents; document changes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS standards.
