Job summary
Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer for our manufacturing facility in the southwest suburban Atlanta metro area.
The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems within an Allen Bradley PLC environment. You will collaborate across Maintenance, Toolroom, Manufacturing Engineering, Technology Team, and Production to drive safety, efficiency, and uptime improvements.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years.
- Experience in Allen Bradley PLC environments and automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, program, and integrate electrical and control systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Lead project activities, coordinating timelines with internal departments and external vendors.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, FATs, and documentation for controls projects.
- Support or lead manufacturing projects from initiation to completion with safety and efficiency focus.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS standards.
