Job summary
Acloché LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer for its southwest suburban Atlanta manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems in an Allen Bradley PLC environment.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead projects, improve safety, efficiency, and uptime, and support various manufacturing processes including stamping, zinc die casting, plating/finishing, and assembly.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
- Experience in Allen Bradley PLC environment and automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical and control-system faults on production equipment.
- Modify machine programs and support manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.
- Lead or support projects to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
- Prepare technical reports and FAT-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OHSA standards.
- Collaborate across Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production.
