Job summary
Calqulate is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area. The role involves troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems in an Allen Bradley PLC environment.
You will collaborate across departments to lead or support projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and uptime. Relocation assistance and a strong benefits package are available.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
- Allen Bradley PLC environment experience is expected.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control systems up to 480V.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems.
- Lead or support manufacturing projects from initiation through completion.
- Improve equipment safety, efficiency, and uptime.
- Prepare and maintain FATs, technical reports, and documentation.
- Maintain safety compliance with OHSA and internal EHS standards.
- Collaborate with multiple departments and external contractors.
