Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for a manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area. The role focuses on electrical troubleshooting, PLC/HMI programming, and leading automation projects to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment uptime.

You will work in an Allen Bradley PLC environment with stamping, die casting, plating, and assembly processes. A comprehensive benefits package and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience and/or training.
Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and control-system design is desirable.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical and control systems on production equipment from 24V to 480V.
Modify machine programs and support or lead automation projects from start to finish.
Collaborate across departments to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
