Cloudera seeks a Contracts Manager to support the US sales organization from a remote Illinois base. You will review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including enterprise subscriptions, services agreements, NDAs, and statements of work.

Build trusted advisor relationships with sales and revenue teams and ensure risk-aware deal closure. This role demands strong drafting and negotiation skills, broad software/data contract knowledge, and clear communication across

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years negotiating sell-side tech and data contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of software industry issues: data privacy, IP, cloud, licensing.
• Experience with AI, complex technology negotiations.
• Strong drafting, analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Comfortable engaging with customers, sales teams, and management.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate enterprise software and data contracts.
• Advise stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and risk.
• Mitigate contractual risks and ensure policy compliance.
