Job summary

Cloudera seeks a collaborative, self-motivated Contracts Manager to join its legal team supporting the United States sales organization. You will review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including enterprise subscriptions, services agreements, NDAs, complex order forms, and statements of work.

This role emphasizes policy compliance, risk management, and cross-functional teamwork with sales, deal desk, and revenue teams to close deals efficiently while reducing exposure.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least 5+ years negotiating sell-side technology and data contracts.
• Strong knowledge of software industry legal issues, privacy, IP, cloud, licensing.
• Expertise in AI, commercial transactions, and complex tech negotiations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Comfortable interacting with customers, sales teams, and management.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate enterprise subscriptions, services agreements, NDAs, and SOWs.
• Provide contracting expertise to negotiate agreements for new and follow-on business.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and global standards for data and licensing.
• Compile and analyze contract data and maintain historical information.
• Collaborate with sales, deal desk, and revenue teams to close contracts efficiently.
