Job summary

Cloudera seeks a collaborative Contracts Manager to join the Legal team, supporting the US sales organization. You will review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, including enterprise subscriptions, services, NDAs, and complex order forms.

We expect leadership in policy compliance, risk mitigation, and advisory support while building trusted relationships with sales, deal desk, and revenue teams to close contracts efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience negotiating sell-side technology contracts.
• Strong knowledge of software industry legal issues such as data privacy and IP.
• Expertise in AI, commercial transactions, and complex technology negotiations.
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and internal/external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and provide contracting expertise to close new and follow-on business.
• Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and global standards.
• Prepare contract paperwork, advise management, and mitigate risks.
• Balance competing priorities and elevate when needed.
• Compile and analyze contract data while maintaining records.
• Build rapport with internal clients to facilitate efficient closing.
