Job summary

GE Aerospace’s Propulsion and Additive Technologies Contracts Organization seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle for civil and U.S. Government work, guiding proposal strategy, negotiation, award, and post-award execution.

Location-flexible with hours aligned to Eastern Time; role emphasizes regulatory compliance (FAR/DFARS/ITAR/EAR), risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, program management, engineering, sales, and legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; JD or advanced degree a plus.
• 6+ years of contract formation and execution across civil, U.S. Government, and international contracting environments.
• Strong knowledge of FAR parts 12 and 15, DFARS, ITAR/EAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contracts SME across the full lifecycle—proposal, negotiation, award, and post-award execution, including risk and disputes.
• Act as primary GE Aerospace contact for civil and government customers on contractual matters, including interpretation and dispute resolution.
• Provide end-to-end contract administration for proposals and contracts; lead negotiations and advise stakeholders on contract risk and compliance.
• Coordinate with finance, program management, engineering, sales, and legal to align commitments with program execution.
• Guide teams through solicitation assessment with FAR/DFARS/ITAR/EAR considerations and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor contract compliance, deliverables, reporting, and performance obligations throughout the lifecycle.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvement across the contracts organization.
