Job summary

GE Aerospace’s Propulsion and Additive Technologies Contracts Organization is location-flexible, aligning with Eastern Time business hours, and seeks a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the full contract lifecycle for civil and U.S. Government programs.

You will lead negotiations, provide end-to-end contract administration, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and export controls, and coordinate with finance, engineering, legal, and program teams to mitigate risk and drive successful execution.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of contract formation and execution across civil, U.S. Government, and international contracting.
• Strong FAR/DFARS knowledge with emphasis on Part 12 and Part 15; DFARS; export controls ITAR/EAR.
• Bachelor's degree or higher; JD or related advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as contracts SME across proposal, negotiation, award, and post-award execution, including change management and disputes.
• Primary point of contact with civil and government customers on contractual matters.
• Provide end-to-end contract administration including drafting, reviewing T&Cs, leading negotiations, advising on risk.
• Liaise with finance, program management, engineering, sales, and legal to align commitments with execution.
• Guide proposal teams through solicitation assessment including FAR/DFARS compliance and ITAR/EAR risk mitigation.
• Monitor contract compliance across lifecycle; ensure deliverables and reporting.
• Participate in special projects and process improvements.
