Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to oversee a mixed civil and U.S. Government contract portfolio. You will guide proposal strategy, negotiations, award, and sustainment, serving as a trusted advisor on customer relations, contract terms, and compliance.

The role is location-flexible with ET business hours; in-person onboarding may be required and U.S. export-controlled information access is a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; JD or advanced degree a plus.
• 6+ years of contract formation and execution experience across civil, U.S. Government, and international contracting.
• Strong knowledge of FAR Parts 12 & 15, plus DFARS and export controls (ITAR/EAR).

Responsibilities

• Serve as contracts expert across the program lifecycle: proposal, negotiation, award, post‑award execution.
• Primary point of contact between GE Aerospace and civil/government customers on contractual matters.
• Prepare and review terms, lead negotiations, and advise on risk and compliance.
