Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data-driven, cross-functional initiatives across multiple sites. You will manage CI resources, lead projects, and influence safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth through lean methods and analytics.

The role interfaces with senior management and requires expert proficiency in PMI-style project governance, PDCA cycles and performance measurement. Hybrid work options and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires nine or more years in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management required.
• Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI engineers and quality professionals; hire, coach and develop teams.
• Develop and execute strategies, scorecards and KPI action plans.
• Coach across Ryder Business System concepts and drive lean methodologies.
• Oversight of multiple CI projects across accounts to deliver sustained improvements.
• Facilitate Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events and sustainment activities.
