Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to champion Lean methods and data-driven programs across multiple sites.

You will supervise CI engineering and quality professionals, drive strategic initiatives and KPI action plans, and partner with operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery and cost targets. You will develop competencies in analytics, lean tools, and automation, guiding teams through Kaizen events, VSM, and sustainability plans while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.
• Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Access, Excel and PowerPoint & Visio expert required.
• Lean Six Sigma, cpMP or ISO/QMS preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals; hire, promote, coach and manage performance.
• Lead strategy, scorecarding, KPI action plans and regular reporting of progress against performance.
• Coach owners to use Engineering, Data Analysis and Lean methods to achieve operational excellence.
