Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a seasoned Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI across multiple operations, driving data-driven changes to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will supervise CI engineering and quality professionals, mentor teams, and partner with senior leaders to deliver tangible business improvements.

The role emphasizes strategy development, KPI management, and the application of Lean, PDCA, and advanced analytics to achieve dramatic performance gains across Ryder sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine years+ in Distribution/ Warehousing/ Manufacturing or Transportation within CI/Lean.
• Expertise with Lean tools and PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen.
• Strong competency in data analytics and root-cause analysis.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead CI engineering and quality professionals, managing performance and hiring decisions.
• Develop and execute CI strategy, KPIs, and action plans with operational leaders.
• Coach teams to use Lean, Engineering, and Data Analytics for operational excellence.
• Develop advanced competency in data analytics, Lean tools, and quality standards.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen Events; drive sustainment and benefits tracking.
