Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement to promote and drive CI across multiple operations. You will lead CI resources, influence change with data-driven engineering and automation efforts, and report progress against key metrics.

This role interfaces with senior management and customers. You will mentor teams, develop strategies, and ensure lean practices are applied to deliver safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.
• Expertise in PowerBI, Tableau and SQL data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals; hire, promote, coach, develop and manage performance.
• Lead strategy development, scorecards, KPI action plans and reports to measure progress.
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring on Ryder Business System concepts and lean methods.
• Develop competencies in engineering methods, data analytics, lean tools, and quality standards; apply PDCA, VSM, Kaizen, 5S.
