Job summary
Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI resources across multiple operations, driving investments in data analytics, engineering, and lean methods to elevate safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
You will partner with site leaders and senior management to translate strategy into measurable improvements. Responsibilities include supervising CI engineers, developing KPIs, coaching teams, and guiding value stream mapping and Kaizen events to achieve
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain required.
- 9+ years in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma; CAD and WMS systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise CI engineering and quality professionals; manage performance.
- Lead strategy, scorecards, KPI action plans, and drive improvements across sites.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring on Lean, data analysis, and tools.
- Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analysis, and Lean tools.
- Track progress and value of CI projects across customer accounts; lead CI team.
