Job summary

First Financial Bank seeks a Consumer Banker in Indianapolis to deepen client relationships and drive business through direct bookings and referrals to internal partners. You will open accounts, perform maintenance, and support client engagement via calls and conversations.

The role emphasizes compliance, risk management, and delivering a FIRST Class Client Experience, while collaborating with districts and lines of business to meet goals.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years coaching/mentoring in a retail environment.
• 3–4 years sales and service with a track record of achieving sales and service goals.
• 3–4 years demonstrated success in achieving performance goals.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 4–5 years of related experience/training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and/or banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts and perform maintenance.
• Run a Teller drawer as needed.
• Support client engagement through active calling and follow-up.
• Partner with internal teams to provide service or solutions.
• Ensure timely client follow-up calls and maintain risk standards.
• Assist clients in transacting in-branch, by phone and by email.
• Meet or exceed sales, service and referral goals with teams.
