Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Consumer Banker to deepen existing client relationships and prospect for new clients. You will open accounts, perform maintenance, and book business directly or refer to Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banking and Treasury Management when appropriate.

This role emphasizes engagement, compliance, and delivering the FFB Experience through proactive client conversations, in-branch service, and digital support to help clients meet their financial goals.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years client service experience in a retail environment.
• 3-4 years sales and service experience with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in retail environment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• May obtain notary authorization.
• Possesses a strong level of bank product knowledge and solid sales skills.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent education/work experience in sales.
• Level of Complexity and Scope: serve a wide variety of client needs per policy; ability to lead teams as needed.
• Degree of Independence and Decision-Making: works with limited supervision; follows guidelines; collaborates with supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts and perform maintenance.
• Run a Teller drawer as deemed necessary by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow up.
• Partner with internal constituencies to bring appropriate level of expertise to the client.
• Ensure client follow up calls are conducted in a proper time frame.
• Maintain all operational and risk management standards.
• Assist clients across branch, drive-thru, by phone and email.
• Model the First Financial Bank Experience with integrity and teamwork.
• Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
• Collaborate to attract, retain and grow core client relationships and provide a first-class client experience.
• Act as client’s trusted advisor using the First Client Conversation Model.
• Participate in site center huddles to support sales and service activities.
• Meet or exceed sales, service and referral goals through teamwork with branches and lines of business.
• Provide digital assistance for online banking support.
