Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in Building Intelligence®, seeks a Superintendent 1 for the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will oversee complex security construction, coordinate teams, manage safety, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for federal, local, and commercial clients.

Responsibilities include leading safety plans, progressing design reviews, and driving prefab processes with engineers. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years in security projects.
• 7+ years in installation, integration and testing of security projects >$500k.
• Experience in the Security Industry.
• 2+ years managing security projects as PM/Superintendent.
• Experience with conduit and wiring systems; access control.
• CPM scheduling proficiency; strong Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, permits.
• Ensure quality and regulatory compliance; report progress.
• Lead weekly resource allocation meetings and staffing.
• Develop 12+ week look-ahead schedules and forecasts.
• Maintain project documentation per standards and change control.
