Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead Security and Electronic Systems (SES) construction projects.

The role oversees inception through completion, coordinating subcontractors, safety, permits, and project documentation to deliver on-time, on-budget results for federal, local, and commercial clients. Travel up to 75% is required. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronic security installations, CPM scheduling, and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are on time, on budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, and permits.

Responsibilities

• Review safety plans and create 12+ week look-ahead schedules.
• Perform design/document reviews for constructability.
• Manage material take-offs and four-week look-ahead forecasts.
• Support logistics and track project metrics.
• Ensure permits and inspections are obtained.
• Lead field crews and coordinate labor requirements.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing and safety requirements.
• Participate in resource allocation meetings and maintain org charts.
• Maintain project documentation per company standards.
• Assist engineers with prefab plans and testing.
• Adhere to incident reporting and ORM procedures.
