Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking a Superintendent for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. You will oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and high safety standards.

You will coordinate subcontractors, permits, and site safety while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders. Travel up to 50% is required; experience in electronic security installations is essential.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 10+ Years of Experience
At least seven (7) years of progressive experience in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects valued at more than $500k
Experience in the Security Industry
At least two (2) years' experience managing security projects as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Foreman
Experience installing conduit and wiring systems
Experience with head end programming and testing of Access Control and Video Management Systems
Common knowledge of basic Network Infrastructure
Experience working with management systems such as scheduling, job cost reports, estimating, safety, documentation requirements, and quality control.
Experience overseeing and approving monthly job cost updates, productivity reports, and quarterly cash flow projections Proficiency in the CPM scheduling method
Must have a history of completing projects under the estimated hours
Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours
Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes occasional nights and weekends
Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, permits and regulations, and effective communication with stakeholders.
Develop building schedules with a 12+ week look ahead and ensure timelines are met.
Maintain project documentation per M.C. Dean standards, including Change Orders and RFIs.
Partner with engineers to drive the prefab process and manage pre-fabrication based on project schedule.
Communicate with GC, owner, project teams, and field operations as a reliable contact.
