Job summary

M.C. Dean seeks a seasoned Superintendent for our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in the United States.

You will oversee all phases of security project construction, from inception to completion, coordinating safety, scheduling, and quality controls across multiple teams and subcontractors. The role requires strong leadership, CPM scheduling proficiency, and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience.
• At least seven (7) years of progressive experience in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects valued at more than $500k.
• Experience in the Security Industry.
• At least two (2) years' experience managing security projects as a Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Foreman.
• Experience installing conduit and wiring systems.
• Experience with head end programming and testing of Access Control and Video Management Systems.
• Common knowledge of basic Network Infrastructure.
• Experience with scheduling, job cost reports, estimating, safety, documentation requirements, and quality control.
• Experience overseeing and approving monthly job cost updates, productivity reports, and quarterly cash flow projections; Proficiency in CPM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, permits and regulations, and communication with stakeholders.
• Lead and solve problems to ensure seamless execution of construction activities and successful delivery of projects.
• Coordinate safety plans, develop construction schedules, and meet timelines.
• Review design documentation, perform take-offs, and manage material and labor planning.
• Support logistics planning, track project metrics, and manage field quality control.
• Ensure permits, licenses, and inspections are obtained.
• Manage crew activities and labor requirements, monitor overtime.
• Collaborate with HR for safety and staffing, conduct interviews.
