Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Superintendent for the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to lead complex construction projects from inception to completion. The role requires coordinating safety plans, permitting, and schedules while ensuring quality and on-time delivery in a dynamic environment.

You will manage field teams, equipment, and subcontractors, oversee documentation, and work closely with engineers to advance prefab and installation activities. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards.
• Lead subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, permits, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Utilize safety plans and develop 12+ week look ahead schedules.
• Review design documentation for constructability.
• Manage material and labor planning with 4-week look ahead forecasts.
• Support logistics planning and track project metrics.
• Ensure permits and inspections are obtained.
• Lead crew activity and staffing to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing and safety compliance.
• Participate in resource allocation and create org charts.
• Complete project documentation per standards, including Change Orders and RFIs.
• Collaborate with engineers on prefab plans and pre-fabrication.
