Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Superintendent for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will oversee construction from inception to completion, coordinating safety plans, scheduling, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

A strong PM/leadership background in security installations is essential. The role requires travel up to 75%, extensive coordination with engineers and HR, and a focus on quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience.
• 7+ years in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects >$500k.
• Experience managing security projects as PM, Superintendent or Foreman.
• Experience with head end programming and testing of Access Control and Video Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Lead safety planning, schedules, and compliance with permits.
• Coordinate subcontractors, logistics, and field quality control.
• Maintain project documentation: Change Orders, RFIs, and daily reports.
• Communicate with GC, owner, and field teams; lead project meetings.
