Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Senior Superintendent for Advanced Facilities Group to lead complex projects from planning through execution on large Industrial & Manufacturing, Data Center and Semiconductor initiatives. You will manage teams, sequencing, safety, quality, and coordination with owners, architects, and vendors.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, budget and schedule management, and hands-on field oversight with a focus on Lean practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (Preferred).
• 10+ years construction experience.
• 8+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Travel and/or relocation may be required.
• May be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold).
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours.
• Frequent activity: Standing, Walking, Climbing, Bending, Reaching above shoulder, Pushing, Pulling.
• Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of complex or multiple projects.
• Manage safety culture and mentor staff.
• Oversee subcontractors, staff, and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate and manage project site care and control.
• Lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings.
• Participate in progress and OAC meetings.
• Create and manage project schedules with Project Manager.
• Track project costs and reports.
• Communicate key project information to owners and teams.
• Ensure QA/QC and documentation practices.
• Support project closeouts and audits.
• Contribute to project pursuit and pre-planning processes.
• Identify and recruit top talent.
