Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, leading Quality Managers and inspectors who report to you.

You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization, developing every QC person on the program. Travel to project sites may be required as assignments dictate.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT frameworks.
• Proven ability to build and scale a QC organization on new programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system across plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and coordinate owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program and report metrics to program leadership.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Act as program's memory and coordinate with owners, superintendents, and inspectors.
