Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, audit program, and the development of QC staff. You will coordinate with the owner's quality organization and lead audits when agencies or owners review the work.

Your role includes establishing the quality framework, directing Quality Managers across projects, and ensuring corrective actions and metrics are reported monthly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality.
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: NICET Level IV or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications; report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
