Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program. You own the site quality management system, audit program, and the development of every QC person. You report to program leadership and coordinate with owner quality groups and inspectors.

Your role emphasizes establishing quality plans, direct staff, and overseeing audits, NCRs, and corrective actions across multiple projects with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Senior certification: ICC special inspector (multi-categories), NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and maintain the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish and direct the program's quality management system, plans, forms, and audits.
• Lead Quality Managers across projects, set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Direct internal audits and host owner, agency, and third‑party audits; own corrective action.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and lab/inspection subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
• Act as program memory: manage changes in specs, owners, and staff while maintaining records.
