Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will lead Quality Managers and inspectors, oversee corrective-action, approve QC plans and ITPs, and report metrics to program leadership monthly; travel as assigned and stay aligned with project schedules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Senior certification such as USACE CQM-C plus ICC/NICET/ASQ etc.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and maintain the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
