Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

You will develop every QC person on the program, drive audits, approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications, and report metrics monthly to program leadership. The role includes leadership across projects with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics — test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings — to program leadership monthly.
