Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing QC staff and the site quality management system. You own the audit program, engage with the owner's quality organization, and drive the development of every QC person on the program.

In this senior role, you lead internal audits, manage corrective actions, approve QC plans and subcontractor qualifications, and report metrics to program leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish and direct the site quality management system, plans, procedures, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and staff development.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory/inspection subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
• Serve as the room lead when agencies/owners audit the project and manage NCR aging and test results.
