Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager to lead the program-wide quality management system, audits, and the development of QC personnel across projects. You will own the audit program, coordinate with owners, and ensure compliance with ISO/NQA-1 and DOT frameworks.

The role requires directing Quality Managers I-III, managing corrective actions, and reporting metrics to program leadership on a monthly cadence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT frameworks

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; manage corrective-action program.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and laboratory/subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
