Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct the program-wide QA system, audits, and staff development across a major infrastructure program. You own the QC framework, coordinate owner and agency audits, and drive continuous improvement through corrective actions.

The role supervises Quality Managers and inspectors, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT QA standards, while reporting metrics to program leadership and maintaining strong client

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading programs.
• Senior certification such as USACE CQM-C, ICC or NICET/ASQ credentials.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1 or DOT QA programs and leading QC teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly; approve quality control plans and subcontractor qualifications.
