Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, audit program, and the development of every QC person on the project. You will lead audits with owners, agencies, and third parties and drive corrective actions in a fast-paced infrastructure setting.

You will report quality metrics to program leadership, coach Quality Managers, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT

Qualifications

10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
Own the corrective-action program; approve quality control plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
Report quality metrics—test pass rates, NCR aging, audit findings—to program leadership monthly.
