Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing QC staff, audits, and the site QM system. You own the audit program, interface with owner quality, and ensure compliance across ISO/NQA-1 and DOT frameworks.

In this senior role, you direct Quality Managers I–II, review metrics, approve QC plans, and shape the program's long-term quality strategy while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality, with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Establish the site quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own corrective-action program and report metrics monthly.
