Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, overseeing Quality Managers and inspectors. You own the site quality management system and the audit program, and you mentor QC staff on the program.

You will represent the program in audits by owners and agencies, drive the corrective-action program, and report quality metrics to leadership monthly, shaping QA strategy and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT frameworks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality.
• 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification (ICC/NICET/ASQ) and experience with ISO 9001/NQA-1/DOT QA.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own the corrective-action program
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications; report quality metrics to program leadership monthly
