Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system, audit program, and relationships with owner's quality organization. You will mentor QC staff and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, NQA-1, and DOT QA frameworks.

You will lead internal audits, coordinate third‑party reviews, approve QC plans and ITPs, report metrics to program leadership, and guide the team through corrective actions on

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality; 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus a senior certification: ICC special inspector (multiple categories), NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage and review performance.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve quality control plans, ITPs, and subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
