Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, owning the site quality management system and audit program. You will lead Quality Managers and inspectors, report metrics to program leadership, and coordinate with the owner's quality organization.

This is a senior role with travel and opportunities to shape the QC practice across multiple projects; pay ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 depending on certifications and experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality.
• 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• USACE CQM-C plus senior certification: ICC special inspector, NICET Level IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT quality assurance frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; report quality metrics monthly.
• Approve quality control plans, ITPs, and laboratory and inspection subcontractor qualifications.
