Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting through you. You own the site quality management system, the audit program, and the relationship with the owner's quality organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years leading quality programs and staff.
• Senior certification: USACE CQM-C plus ICC Special Inspector, NICET IV, or ASQ CQA/CMQ-OE.
• Experience with ISO 9001, NQA-1 or DOT QA frameworks for owner programs.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and keep it to plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures, forms, and the audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers across projects; set coverage, review performance, and develop staff.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits; own corrective-action program.
• Approve QC plans, ITPs, and laboratory/subcontractor qualifications; report metrics monthly.
