Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a senior Construction Quality Manager III to direct quality across a major program, with Quality Managers and inspectors reporting through you. You own the site quality system, the audit program, and the owner’s quality interface.

Your duties include leading audits, approving QC plans and qualifications, and reporting metrics to program leadership. Pay ranges $130,000 to $160,000, with travel and per diem as assigned.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction quality with 5+ years managing quality programs and staff.
• Experience with owner quality programs under ISO 9001, NQA-1, or DOT QA frameworks.
• Proven ability to build a QC organization on a new program and hold it to the plan.

Responsibilities

• Establish the program quality management system: plans, procedures and audit schedule.
• Direct Quality Managers I and II across projects.
• Lead internal audits and host owner, agency, and third-party audits.
• Own the corrective-action program; approve QCPs, ITPs, and lab/subcontractor qualifications.
• Report quality metrics to program leadership monthly.
